We're getting married in the forest in Sedro-Wooley, WA. It's very fancy. It's kind of a barn.
RSVPTell us if you're coming, and how! |
We'll be right on schedule, with this handy schdule! Warning: contents may unsettle during flight.
"Who are these fierce warriors?" is a question you might ask if you weren't you, and weren't visiting this website. Here's a better question: "What's this wedding?"
We are really lucky people, but the luckiest luck ever was to meet each other, and we're planning to hold on tight for as long as we can. We're signing a literal contract to that effect, and we want you there to witness and celebrate it!
Sounds simple? It will be. Our wedding will be like a wedding, but outside, with camping, and some beautifully mangled traditions and activities. It will be fancy but a little weird, like us! Please come.
We're getting married at a mildly-civilized clearing in the forest in Sedro-Wooley, WA, just 90 minutes North of Seattle. There's a barn, a little lodge, and a stage. But mostly we'll be outside!
Address: 3980 Camp 2 Rd, Sedro-Wooley, WA 98284
Camping is encouraged! It's right on site, next to the reception area. Tents will be pitched in a big grassy field under the stars. There are chemical toilets and proper sinks, but it is camping.
If you don't have tentware, you can rent it at REI (reserve in advance), or find a bunkmate.

If you like civilization, you have a few options.
20 minutes away is Skagit Ridge Hotel, which also owns a casino across the street with rooms. Their online booking site incorrectly reports no vacancies. Call them at 360-724-1640.
If you're willing to travel 30 minutes, you can stay in Bellingham. Lots of good options on Yelp.
Of course, if you like driving, you can stay in Seattle. :-)
Gifts really aren't necessary! But if you insist, that's pretty nice of you, and there are a couple options. We don't really want stuff, but we are excited about a nice honeymoon. We're leaving for an Eastern European Train Extravaganza right after the wedding. You can help contribute to that at the link to the right. Or you can give to a charity on our behalf, like the Global Fund for Women linked here. It's a pretty great charity. You can specify the donation "in honor" of us on their page so we get notified. Or just come to the wedding!
